Improving Cycling and Walking in East Grinstead

East Grinstead is a town where little attention has been given to cyclists. People cycling to and from the town centre shops, railway station often have to improvise ways to avoid riding along the busy A22 / A264 gyratory system. This forum proposes simple solutions to improve opportunities for connectivity by cycle. We believe that small changes made to highways will enable more people to better access the town without cars, reducing congestion and air pollution. The benefits of cycling and walking on health are widely recognised. Creating dedicated spaces for cycling will improve safety and wellbeing for everyone.
